“This is about as disguise-y as I get,” she said holding up a pair of specs during an interview. “Comic-Con is actually the best place to not get recognized because there are so many people in amazing costumes. I think that catches the eye more than someone wearing regular clothing, Converse and sunglasses.”
The British actress said she’s more recognized in public for her role as Dr. Jo Wilson in ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” than as Lara Croft in the new “Tomb Raider” video games, primarily because the developers tweak the virtual character to look more like Croft than Luddington. However, it has happened.
“That always blows my mind, because I assume that people playing the game don’t know what I actually look like,” said Luddington. “I’m more surprised by that than anything.“
Camilla Luddington talked with Michael Ausiello about Tomb Raider and Grey’s Anatomy in an interview at Comic Con 2015. Camilla shared how exciting it was filming Tomb Raider and what she expects from Grey’s Anatomy, including a possible Jolex break up.
Camilla is back on the set of Grey’s Anatomy next week.

Yay! We have the first trailer of Rise of the Tomb Raider. Who’s excited? Watch it over EW’s website
Rise of the Tomb Raider is set to continue Lara Croft’s adventures later this year, and the new trailer, which EW can exclusively reveal, proves that things are definitely not going to be easy for Lara this time around.
Set to voiceover from Lara actress Camilla Luddington, the new CGI tease offers a look at Lara trekking through the frozen wildnerness. Out in the snowy mountains, her greatest foe isn’t a group of gun-totting villains but nature itself. Lara’s determined, though, to discover… well, what exactly she’s looking for remains a mystery.
But the wait won’t be long until we know more. Microsoft is set to unveil a full look at the game at its E3 press conference on June 15.
